Google is excited to invite you to participate in the Women Techmakers (WTM) Ambassador program and look forward to collaborating with you to promote the cause of Women Techmakers by hosting events, giving speeches, creating content, and mentoring.
The Women Techmakers Directory showcases Ambassadors from around the world who are celebrated for their technical skills and community involvement.
Ambassadors leverage a global network and exclusive resources to foster a world where all women can thrive in tech.
How do Ambassadors engage?
- Organize an event
- Host a meet-up, power panel, or an International Women’s Day event to educate, connect and inspire your tech community.
- Deliver a talk
- Share your expertise on any topic. Previous ambassadors have shared their knowledge on Google technologies, DEI efforts, well-being, and more.
- Create a resource
- Film a video, create custom code snippets, or write a blog post, and share your knowledge with the community.
- Mentor others
- Mentor others and help empower the next generation of technologists.

You Agree that as a WTM Ambassador
- Your participation in the program is completely voluntary.
- Google may remove any participant from the WTM Ambassador program for any reason; Ambassadors may also leave the WTM Ambassador program at any time;
- You do not have a partnership, agency or employer-employee relationship with Google or any Google entity.
- You are not and will not be entitled to any compensation, options, stock or other rights or benefits accorded to Google employees; and you waive any right to them and promise never to claim them.
- When promoting or speaking about the WTM Ambassador Program (in person or online), always mention your connection with the Program.
- Google may change the terms or scope of this Program at any time for any reason.
- To let Google use any information that you provide to it in connection with the WTM Ambassador program in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and you agree that they may display any information that you provide them on Google websites.
Eligibility Criteria
- To apply, you must be 18 years old or older and actively involved in your tech community, with a minimum of one year of experience organizing events, public speaking, resting content like blogs or videos, or mentoring others.
- You must have a genuine interest in advancing your skills, particularly in Google technologies, and be prepared to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per quarter to execute various community activities throughout the year. Responsibilities include:
- Adherence to program guidelines
- Commitment to their mission
- Organizing an activity at least once a quarter
- Participating in program development sessions.
You Agree Not To
- make any untrue statements or representations about Google or any of Google’s products or services;
- make any statements on behalf of Google or any Google company. You should ensure that any opinions you express are clearly stated as being your own and not those of Google;
- make any statements or representations in the course of your activities as a WTM Ambassador that are in Google’s sole opinion misleading, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene, or otherwise objectionable to Google;
- misrepresent the purpose of the WTM Ambassador program, how the program functions or your role as a WTM Ambassador;
- claim to be an active participant of the program if you are no longer a member of the program.
