African Tech Startup Forum

Apply for the African Tech Startup Forum, a Market Access and Acceleration Program designed to prepare, train, expose, and connect tech ventures with opportunities.

The program takes place virtually and in-person, aiming to showcase the exceptional tech innovations emerging from Africa and provide them with the platform to thrive. Collaborating with experts from Africa and around the globe, will create an ecosystem that nurtures and boosts tech ventures.

The Africa Tech Startup Forum is funded by the Korea Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Trust Fund through the African Development Bank (AfDB)’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab. It serves as a dynamic hub for innovation, collaboration, and growth within the burgeoning tech landscape of the African continent. The Africa Tech Startup Forum is managed by Ndarama Works, Catalyze, Korea Startup Forum, and UVU.

Criteria

To apply for Africa Tech Startup Forum, follow these steps:

  • Create and record a 1-3 minute video introducing yourself, your business or project, and explaining what you hope to gain from participating in this program.
  • Upload your video as a private/unlisted video on YouTube or Vimeo. Make sure the video is accessible to anyone with the link, and have the link ready for your application.
  • Please fill out the form below and submit it.
  • Please provide detailed information wherever possible. This will assist the jury in making accurate and well-informed decisions.
